Are travel cards actually worth it? Ugh, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? It’s such a gamble, you know? Like, last year, I got a card promising all these amazing perks – free flights, lounge access, the whole shebang. And honestly? It was amazing! I snagged a free flight to Iceland, which, let me tell you, totally made the annual fee worthwhile. Felt like getting a discount on the trip of a lifetime! It was incredible, exploring those lava fields and those crazy waterfalls…I’ll never forget it.

But then, the year before that? Different card, same idea. Total bust. I barely used it, barely hit the spending targets, and that annual fee felt like a punch in the gut. Seriously, I could have used that money for, I don’t know, an extra night in a nicer hotel somewhere? A better meal? Something! It felt like such a waste.
