2 Days in Da Nang: Enough Time?
Two days in Da Nang? Hmm, tight, but doable. I squeezed it in last October, a whirlwind trip really.
Marble Mountains? Totally worth it. Breathtaking views, seriously. Spent about three hours there, including exploring the caves.
That said, felt rushed. Could’ve used another day, especially to explore the beaches more. Son Tra Peninsula beckoned but time was scarce.
My Da Nang trip cost roughly $200 (excluding flights). Food was cheap, but entry fees added up.
In short: two days hits the highlights. But for a truly relaxed experience, three would be ideal.
How many days should I stay in Da Nang?
Ugh, Da Nang… Okay, so I went there last spring. It was… chaotic, beautiful, and tiring, all at once. I’d say 3 days is the sweet spot, but honestly, I wanted more.
We stayed right near My Khe Beach. I think it was called “The Ocean Villas” or something ridiculously fancy. It was so hot! March 2024, I’ll never forget the sweat.

- Afternoon: A/C blasting, trying to recover.
- Evening: Seafood. So. Much. Seafood.
Two days just felt rushed. One day is def not enough! I regret not spending a week. The food alone… Oh man.
I wish I had more time to explore Marble Mountains. We only did a quick tour. It was kind of crowded, tho. Still cool.
Next time, I’m renting a motorbike. Forget taxis. I want to explore at my own pace! I want to find hidden waterfalls! That’s the dream.

APEC Park. Modern statues, a breath of fresh air. Did I truly see that? The river reflecting. So still.
Da Nang Museum. History echoes. Stories etched in stone. I swear the walls breathed. I… saw her there?

What is there to do in Da Nang solo?
Ugh, Da Nang solo trip? My Khe Beach is overrated, honestly. Too crowded. Sand gets everywhere.
Marble Mountains though, that was cool. Climbed up, amazing views. Seriously impressive architecture. Sweat like a pig, though. Needed a cold Bia Hoi afterwards.
Ba Na Hills… Golden Bridge is touristy AF, but the views? Stunning. Worth it for the photos alone. Cable car ride was long. My legs hurt.
That Dragon Bridge thing? Yeah, saw the fire and water show. It’s…okay. Kinda cheesy. Best part was the street food nearby.
Food! Oh my god, the food. Banh Mi, everywhere! Tried this amazing seafood place near the market. Expensive, but fresh. Totally worth it.
Gonna go back next year, maybe during the off-season. Less crowds.
