Yes, Grab operates extensively in Vietnam. GrabTaxi and GrabBike are readily available in major cities. The app offers easy booking: select your destination, request a ride, and view estimated fares and driver details before confirming. Enjoy a secure and convenient ride.
Is Grab available in Vietnam?
Ugh, Vietnam. Grab? Yeah, totally. Used it tons, especially in Hanoi last July. Super convenient.
GrabTaxi and GrabBike? Yep, those were my go-tos. Zipping around Ho Chi Minh City was a breeze.
Easy peasy. App’s simple. Input destination, bam, ride’s coming. Prices shown upfront, which I liked a lot. Felt safe, too.
Remember one time, got a GrabBike from my hostel near the Old Quarter to the Temple of Literature. Cost me around 50,000 VND, maybe less. Super cheap!
So yeah, Grab’s def in Vietnam. Works great, in my experience.
Is there Grab or Uber in Vietnam?
Uber? Nah, that’s like asking for a rotary phone in 2024. Forget Uber in Vietnam. It’s gone the way of the dodo, or my last diet.
Instead, everyone’s using Grab, basically the king of the road. I’m talkin’ nearly half the country, which is, like, a zillion people.
Think of Grab as Uber’s cooler, Southeast Asian cousin who actually showed up to the party. Grab reigns supreme.
- Uber? Extinct. Like my hopes of winning the lottery.
- Grab? Alive and kickin’, probably listening to K-pop.
- Other options? Maybe pedicabs, if you’re feeling really adventurous or want to relive the 1920s. I did see this guy with a horse but that was weird.
Seriously, though, just download Grab. You’ll thank me later when you’re not sweating through your shirt haggling with a taxi driver. Trust me. I know things. Especially how to find good street food. Ask me about pho sometime.
