Visiting Phong Nha Caves Solo?
Solo Phong Nha Caves trip? Totally doable! I went on July 12th, 2023, and explored Phong Nha Cave, Paradise Cave, and Dark Cave all by myself. No guide needed for those three.
Seriously, so easy. Phong Nha Cave entrance was only 150,000 VND, a steal. Paradise Cave was pricier, about 250,000 VND, but wow, worth it.
Dark Cave though, that’s a different story. I heard you need a guide there, but I skipped it. Too muddy looking, haha.
Tien Son Cave? Yep, that one’s self-guided too from what I saw. Maybe some less-known caves need a guide. I’m not sure.
So, bottom line: Phong Nha, Paradise, and Tien Son – solo friendly!
