Thinking of those sun-soaked sands. Worth more than gold, I say. Like my grandmother used to say, “Always seek the sun, child.” Krabi is sunshine itself.

• Waterfalls: Silver ribbons, nature’s tears.

And the food! Oh, the food! Spices dancing. Sweet, salty, divine. A feast for the soul, Krabi offers. Worth every single penny.

Which is better, Krabi or Phuket?

Krabi. More beautiful. Simpler. Phuket’s paved. Concrete comforts. Who needs them? Been to both. Alone. Prefer the quiet.

Phuket’s noise grates. Too much. Krabi breathes. Like I do. Sometimes.

• Beaches: Krabi wins. Railay. Unforgettable. Phuket’s crowded. Sand’s the same. Everywhere.
• Cost: Krabi’s cheaper. Food. Everything. Except maybe solitude. That’s priceless.
• Access: Phuket’s airport. Easier. Krabi’s further. Worth the trip. Trust me. Been there. 2024.

Phuket. For the masses. Krabi. For the few. Choose wisely. You only live once. Probably. No refunds. Just memories. Fading. Like everything.

Is Krabi worth visiting for a week?

Krabi? Oh yeah, totally worth it. Picture this: me, sweaty, late August 2024, staring at Railay Beach. Unreal.

Seriously, the limestone cliffs? Mind-blowing. Felt like a freakin’ movie set.

Spent maybe a week there? Give or take a day, who’s counting?

It’s THE spot if you want crazy beaches and national parks.

Plus, island hopping is a must.

• Koh Phi Phi? Soooo touristy, BUT those views are something else. Maya Bay…wow.
• Koh Lanta? Chilled out vibes, way less crowded. Loved the sunsets.

I swear, the food alone… Pad Thai for days!

Things to do:

• Rock climbing at Railay. My arms were killing me, good times.
• Longtail boat trips. Essential.
• Eating everything. Seriously.

Yeah, Krabi’s a winner. Just do it!

How many days do you need in Krabi?

Ugh, Krabi. Three days? Too short! Five days is better, definitely. But depends what you want, right? I crammed so much into my 5-day trip last year! It was killer.

Ao Nang’s markets? Crazy busy, loved the chaos though. So much street food! Pad thai every day almost. The smells alone are worth it. Seriously.

Thung Teao? Emerald Pool was stunning, but the crowds… You know? Hot springs were okay. Nothing spectacular. I preferred Railay Beach.

Railay! Wow, the rock climbing. I almost didn’t go, but so glad I did. Incredible views. Should’ve stayed longer!

Five days lets you do Ao Nang, Railay, and maybe even a boat trip. Island hopping is a MUST. Three days feels rushed. Like you’re just scratching the surface. Five feels more relaxing, you know?

Need a massage? Tons of places. I’m serious, I need a holiday now. Thinking of going back next year. Maybe 7 days this time?

Is phi phi better or Krabi?

Krabi, on the other hand, is the grounded sibling. Gorgeous scenery that doesn’t require a second mortgage to enjoy. Beaches? Yep, they’ve got those.

• Phi Phi? Think Instagram goals and travel debt.
• Krabi = serene beauty and affordable mango smoothies. Winning!

Really though, it’s all personal preference. One is not necessarily ‘better’ than the other. If I were you, I’d base my decision on your budget and what kind of vacation you want. Party animal? Phi Phi. Chill vibes? Krabi!

If you ask me, my budget definitely leans to Krabi nowadays. I’m getting old, you know.
