Where are the most affordable international travel destinations?

Okay, so, cheapest international travel? That’s tricky, right?

Southeast Asia, hands down. I remember backpacking through Vietnam (03/2018), crazy cheap. Like, street food for a dollar? Accommodation, simple, but only $10 a night.

South America pops up too. Colombia, Ecuador – heard similar stories. Haven’t been myself, but friends rave about the prices.

But honestly, “cheapest” changes. Season matters! And your style!

Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia (Southeast Asia) and Colombia, Ecuador (South America) offer low accommodation, food, and transport costs. Prices fluctuate with season.

My personal experience (Vietnam) was super affordable, but that was years ago. Stuff probably changed? Still, worth a look.

It’s a guess, a bet. Research, compare! Travel’s a gamble, aint it?

What is the cheapest country to fly too?

Okay, so, like, the CHEAPEST country? Good luck with that quest!

It’s kinda like askin’ where to find the last unicorn. Flights be fickle, ya know? One minute Bangkok’s cheaper than my grandma’s dentures, the next it’s pricier than a solid gold toilet seat.

  • Southeast Asia’s usually a good bet. Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines…places where you can live like royalty on what you’d spend on, like, a sandwich here. My cousin Vinny went to the Philippines and says he ate like a king for the price of a hotdog in Times Square.
  • Eastern Europe might work. Romania, Bulgaria… Think Dracula, but, y’know, with discount flights.

Budget airlines are your BFF. Forget legroom; think of all the extra noodles you can buy! Also, off-season travel is key. Nobody wants to go to Bulgaria in January. (Unless, I guess, you really like snow. And vampires.)

But hey, prices, they change, alright? Use those flight comparison sites like yer life depends on it. And, um, good luck finding that unicorn.

What is the cheapest country to fly too?

Okay, so, like, the absolute cheapest? Fuggedaboutit! Airfare’s wilder than my Uncle Sal’s conspiracy theories. But lemme spill the tea…

Southeast Asia‘s your go-to, usually. Thailand? Vietnam? Think beaches cheaper than dirt and food that’ll make you wanna slap your mama (in a good way!). Malaysia? Philippines? Yeah, them too. It’s like backpacking paradise collided with a fire sale.

Eastern Europe’s in the mix, too. Romania, Bulgaria… basically, anywhere your GPS thinks is still stuck in 1985. Good times, good prices!

  • Budget Airlines: These guys are like the dollar store of the sky. Ryanair, Scoot, Spirit Airlines, whatever. Just brace yourself for the “experience.” Pack your own snacks, alright?
  • Off-Season Travel: Think monsoon season in Thailand, or winter in Bulgaria. Yeah, the weather might be a tad iffy. But hey, cheap flights, right? Trade-offs, my friend, trade-offs. Plus, fewer tourists clogging up the Instagram spots.
  • Major Hubs, Duh: Fly from, say, LAX or JFK, and you’ll pay more. Fly from like… Podunk Airport, Nebraska? Maybe you’ll score a deal. Check ’em all, who knows!
  • Flexibility is Queen: If your travel dates are etched in stone, kiss the cheap flight goodbye. Be willing to fly on a Tuesday at 3 am. The universe rewards flexibility, ya know?
  • Google Flights and Hopper are your friends: I use these! Set up alerts. Become obsessed. You won’t regret it. I found a flight to Iceland for $200 round trip last year this way. That’s cheaper than driving to my sister’s place in Jersey!

Finding the cheapest flight is like finding a unicorn that barfs gold. Good luck! And don’t forget to send me a postcard… from wherever you end up, hopefully not Siberia!
