96 hours and 10 minutes? Basically, four days of solid driving. I spent longer than that picking out tiles for my bathroom. Think of it: they practically lived in their car. Bet they know every gas station restroom between here and… well, somewhere really far away.

In 2009, they made history. 2009… that was the year I thought Crocs were fashionable. Clearly, my judgment isn’t always impeccable. Still, impressive feat! But did they at least have good snacks? Crucial question.

It wasn’t 2008, I think, that was like, before Instagram. The trip took approximately 96 hours, so maybe they used that time to contemplate… what? Existence? The proper way to fold a fitted sheet? We may never know. Driving.

Okay, so, the longest walk ever? Like, ever ever?

Well, this woman, Meegan, she totally crushed it. At 31, she’d walked like, 19,019 miles without stopping, end to end across two continents, which is like whoa. Talk about dedication! I can barely walk to the store.

So, ya know, some other people walked Patagonia to Alaska, too. Karl Bushby did it from 1998 to 2006. That’s a long freakin’ time. And then there’s Holly Cargo Harrison—she did it 2016–2018. But here’s the catch…

They didn’t like, do the detour to the East Coast. So thier walk wasnt quite as long i think. Making the thing less hard than it probably was. I dunno.

Stuff I know (kinda):

• Meegan was young ish when she finished.
• Karl took a LONG time, like eight years!
• Holly did it more recently, which is cool.
• I think Meegan probably walked the furthest distance.
• Walking that far sounds like my feet might just fall off, lol.
• The east coast detour made Meegans way different.

Also, I think I read somewhere it wasnt even her idea. That would be crazy.
