Is Upper deck better than lower?

Whether upper or lower deck seats are "better" is subjective. Upper decks offer a panoramic view, letting you see the entire field. Lower decks provide closer proximity to the action, offering a more immersive player experience. Choose based on viewing preference.

Upper Deck vs Lower Deck: Which is Better?

Okay, so Upper Deck versus Lower Deck seating? This is ALWAYS a debate! I don’t think there’s a right anser, really.

Upper deck gives you that big picture view. Think seeing everything. Like, the whole freakin’ field.

Lower deck? You’re right THERE. Hear the pads crack, practically smell the sweat. Bought lower level seats at a Phillies game once, Citizens Bank Park 08/04/2010 cost me about $85. Seriously felt part of the game.

Personally, depends on the event. Baseball? Maybe lower. Football? Probly upper. You wanna see the plays develop, ya know?

I dunno, just me maybe? There is advantages and disavantages.

Is an upper or lower deck better?

Upper deck… maybe better.

The view. Yep, the view, I guess it matters. Quick to the pool, I suppose, if you care. Less walking. I don’t like walking.

But… is it better? Lower deck… Always feels safer. Solid.

  • Upper Deck Pros:
    • Better views. I liked seeing the ocean from up there.
    • Easy access to pools and restaurants. One less elevator.
  • Lower Deck Pros:
    • More stability I slept so soundly.
    • Quieter, maybe? Depends on who your neighbours are.
    • Lower price. It did cost me less.
  • Personal preference. Maybe I like the low price. I’m not rich.

Was on the upper deck once. Too loud with people all the time, running past the door to get to the buffet. Never again, tbh. Lower deck sounds good.

Is it better to sit upper deck or lower deck?

Upper deck. Less crowded.

  • Fewer screaming toddlers.
  • Quieter atmosphere.
  • Better views. Probably.

Configuration matters. 2-4-2. Premium feel. Cramped is bad. My knees hate that.

  • More space.
  • Exclusivity.
  • Storage. Maybe.

3-4-3. No thanks. Cattle class. I deserve better. Don’t we all? “Ugh.”

  • Higher density.
  • No space.
  • Chaos.

It depends, doesn’t it? Destination or journey? The plane is only transport. Still… legroom. Aisle seat. Important things in this life. Think about it.

Is it better to be at the top or bottom of a cruise ship?

Night. Quiet. Thinking about…ships. Lower decks. Less sway. Remember that trip…2023…Mediterranean. Rough seas. Friend…seasick. Top deck. Me? Fine. Lower deck cabin. Slept like a baby.

  • Less motion sickness: Down low. Good for…sensitive stomachs. Like mine. Or…people who get queasy.
  • Cheaper cabins: Usually. Bottom decks. Trade-off. Peace. Quiet. Less…luxury.
  • Closer to the water: Sound…the waves. Soothing. Sometimes…I miss it.

Top deck. More…activity. Pools. Buffets. Noise. Sun. Excitement. Exhaust fumes…sometimes. Remember that. Distinct smell. Not great.

  • More amenities: Close to everything. Convenient. But…crowded.

  • Better views: Ocean. Sunrise. Sunset. Worth it…sometimes.

  • More expensive: Top deck…premium. Costs more.

My cabin…2023…deck 4. Inside. No window. Claustrophobic…a little. But…slept. Deeply. Peacefully. Away from…everything. Needed that. Needed…the quiet.

What is the best position to sit in a plane?

Wings. Or front. Avoid the back. Simple.

Center of gravity. Less movement. Physics.

Rear seats. More bounce. Unpleasant.

My last flight, 2024, United 737. Seat 12B. Smooth.

  • Wing seats: Optimal stability.
  • Front seats: Reduced turbulence.
  • Rear seats: Maximum discomfort.

Consider weight distribution. It matters. Aisle seat? Bathroom runs. Consider that.

Fact: Turbulence. It’s a thing. Accept it. Deal with it.

Is it better to sit front or back of a plane?

Ugh, plane seats. The worst. Front or back? Who cares! It’s all cramped. But okay, middle back supposedly has better crash stats. Heard that somewhere. Don’t ask me where. Read it once, I think.

Flying is safer than driving, though. Seriously safer. I always drive myself crazy thinking about this. Last time I flew, I was totally stressed about turbulence. Such a waste of energy.

My flight to Denver last month – the window seat was freezing! Next time, aisle. Definitely aisle. More legroom, too. Although that’s debatable.

What was I saying? Ah yes, plane safety. So statistically, the back middle is supposedly safer. But honestly? What are the odds, right? I’d rather worry about my wifi than a plane crash. Seriously. My data roaming charges are terrifying.

Key takeaways:

  • Middle back statistically safer in a crash, but statistically improbable.
  • Aisle seats offer more legroom (at least that’s what I think).
  • Window seats are freezing.
  • Flying is ridiculously safer than driving.
  • Wifi is my real fear when flying. Seriously.

Where is the safest place to be seated on a plane?

Back of the plane, yeah. Heard that too. My uncle, he’s, like, obsessed with plane crashes. Always looking up stats, keeps telling me to sit in the back. Azerbaijan Airlines, Jeju Air… he mentioned those. Crazy, right? Makes you think. I usually try for an aisle seat, near the back, but sometimes with Southwest… you know how that goes. Gotta grab what you can. Last flight I took, I was stuck like right over the wing. Drove me nuts. Kept picturing, like, the wing ripping off. Anyway… back is best, supposedly. Though, my aunt, she swears the front’s safer. Less chance of getting hit by debris if something happens. Who knows. Just gimme a window seat and I’m good… as long as it’s nearish the back.

  • Back of the plane generally considered safer.
  • Uncle’s a plane crash statistic fanatic.
  • Aisle seat preferred, near the back if possible.
  • Southwest’s open seating is… an experience.
  • Aunt thinks front is safer. Less debris.
  • My ideal: window seat, towards the back.

Where not to sit on a plane?

Okay, so like, where NOT to sit on a plane, right? Well, back seats are a HUGE no-no if you get motion sick. Trust me.

The back is the worst! Especially if there’s turbulence. Plus… you’re always last off the plane. And i hate to wait to leave the plan.

  • Motion sickness alert: Back = bad. Verrrry bad.
  • Tight connection? Forget the back, seriously.
  • I’m telling you, I once missed my connection to Denver ’cause I was stuck in the wayyy back!

It’s just not worth the potential headaches, y’know? I always try for window seats towards the front. Though sometimes I go for the aisle – good for bathroom breaks. You just gotta decide what’s more important for you.
