Okay, here’s my take on whether Da Nang is expensive for tourists, just how I see it:

Da Nang isn’t gonna break the bank. Prices are going up, sure, but it’s still a bargain, honestly.

I rember back in, like, December 2018? Got a sweet beachfront hotel room near My Khe beach for, like, 30 bucks a night. Food was dirt cheap, too. Amazing banh mi for under a dollar!

Accommodation’s decent, cheap eats are everywhere, and getting around won’t hurt your wallet. Plenty to do without spending much.

Now, things are probably a lil’ pricier. I mean, inflation’s real, right? But compared to other beach destinations I’ve been to, Da Nang’s still a steal.

You can eat & explore without feeling guilty. Find free beaches and attractions.

Spent a whole day exploring the Marble Mountains (paid a small entry fee, though). And the beaches? Free (mostly)!

Don’t get me wrong, you can spend a lot if you want fancy hotels and Michelin-star-wannabe restaurants.

But if you’re smart? Da Nang’s totally doable on a budget. Seriously. Even now. Still a lovely place, I’d go again.
